Asia
Thanks to SEAMEO’s valuable role in this region and its collaboration with ETI, a joint effort has been initiated to bring TPD@scale knowledge to education policy makers in the region. SEAMEO was instrumental in the initial launch of the global learning cycle, adapting the content to regional needs. Following this initial stage, SEAMEO is facilitating the course to officials from various ministries of education, integrating these issues into strategic discussions at the policymaker level.

Latin America and the Caribbean
As part of its commitment to educational capacity building, ETI is launching the second phase of the Global Learning Cycle, focused on Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). In this cycle, organizations in the region will be invited to participate in an online course on the TPD@scale model, followed by contextualization sessions to adapt the knowledge to local realities. In parallel, the Empowering Teachers Network in Latin America and the Caribbean has been created, whose members have been integrated into the global learning cycle and participate in strategic discussions. In addition, this network brings together various organizations to share best practices in teacher professional development, foster knowledge exchange, collaborate on joint initiatives and promote advocacy on educational policies.

Africa and the Middle East
A model similar to that of LAC will be developed in the third phase of the Global Learning Cycle, which will focus on Africa and the MIddle East. This phase will drive regional dialogues that will contextualize the knowledge acquired for the particularities of these regions, culminating in a regional event in 2026.(not enabled yet)
